| Frequently Asked Questions |
Will the CLINAGE Vitamin
C Home Peel actually peel my skin?
No, it dissolves the oil and glue that holds dead, dry cells
on the top layer of skin, and loosens and removes them. These
dead skin cells have no function or benefit to our skin and
need to be removed. The Vitamin C Home Peel will help remove
those dead, dry skin cells. Some people may experience some
flaking, and shedding of dry dead skin cells but it is only
superficial and is not actually peeling the skin.
Can I use these products if my skin is dry?
Yes, most dry skin is really - dry dead skin cells that
need to be removed. As we age the new skin cells come to the
surface at a slower rate, and the old dead skin cells build
up and inhibit anything from absorbing into the skin. Continued
use of these products will also increase cells that retain moisture
in the deeper skin layers.
Can I still go outside in the sunshine if I’m using
these products?
Yes, unlike Retin A these products are not photo-sensitive,
which means you will not risk more pigmentation if you go into
the sun while using them. However, it is highly recommended
that you use a sunscreen with at least 30 SPF (preferably a
sunblock) when you know you will be exposed to direct sunlight.
Can I use these products if I’m using Retin-A?
Yes, but not on the same day. You should wait 48 hours before
and after using Retin A to use the Skin Peel Activator and/or
Crystals on the skin. You can still use the other products in
the line.
Can I use these products if I have Rosacea?
Yes, in fact it will improve the blotchiness that comes
with Rosacea, and it helps to refine the pores, and even the
complexion. The products have an anti-inflammatory action that
helps calm the redness. |
