Marcia Fosnaugh Avis grew up in a world of creative innovative health care. She grew up watching her father, the late Dr. Robert Fosnaugh M.D., a respected dermatologist and cosmetic surgeon design new pharmaceutical grade skin care potions and lotions for his patients. At a young age he read medical journals to her so it was no surprise when Marcia chose to work in the health and medical fields.

Marcia received her nursing degree, Bachelor of Science and MBA from University of Michigan. She majored in chemistry and has spend over 20 years researching skin care products and techniques to learn how to produce a product that combines glycolic acid and vitamins without producing negative consequences. This research has formed the foundation for the development of CLINAGE products and treatments.

Today, Marcia stays up-to-date on the latest advancements in the skin care industry by working with top chemists and leaders in dermatology and cosmetic dermatology. She maintains a strong educational foundation and personally helps to train skin care professionals, and the general public on diseases of the skin, skin aging, pigmentation and skin rejuvenation. She is a contributing editor for several skin care textbooks used to train skin care professionals.
